Ana Taberna was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1960.  She graduated from the Fine Arts School EMBA (Escuela Municipal Bellas Artes EMBA) in 1981 and began a career as an art, drawing and painting teacher.

 

In 1982 she moved to Tuscany and opened the artisan company Maskes, where she produced hand painted paper mache masks. In the same company, in 1991, she began a production of hand painted sun dials and watches.

 

From 1998 to 2006 she worked as an artisan and merchant in her business entitled Ana Maria Catalina Taberna, specialized in the production of glass earrings, in the commercialization of ethnic artisan jewelry.

 

In 2005 she opened her studio Crea che ti Passa, studio of creative arts, painting, singing and poetry in via Cavour in Arezzo, where she worked until 2007.

 

In most recent years, she has been working in her studio in Arezzo and participates occasionally in the Fiera Antiquaria of Arezzo in the Area of Original Works.
