Nino Barone at his solo exhibit "Oltre il Segno, oltre il Colore."

Nino Barone lives in Termoli, where he was born in 1955. He has a degree in Architecture.

His pictorial activity develops in the wake of conceptual artists who make art through the interrelationships expressed with a "logical calculation," different from representation. His representations of signs follow a structural order and build topographic relationships through a code of forces, directions and intensity of the sign-chromatic frequencies.

He was part and founded from 1975 to 1998 in the "Gruppo Solare," in the "Orientation Group" at the International Movement "Archetyp'Art.” From 2005 to 2014 he conceived and coordinated with others the Convention of the New Italian Art Critic "Tracker Art." From 2007 to 2014 he opened in Termoli the Contemporary Art Gallery "Officina Solare.” In 2008 he was awarded the first prize at the LIII° Termoli Prize.

To his credit he has participated in more than one hundred exhibitions and his works appear in galleries and private collections in Italy and abroad.
